In the first game of the night the Har-Ber Lady Wildcats would take on the visiting Rogers Heritage Lady War Eagles. Har-Ber came into the game with an overall record of 17-4 and 9-0 in 6A West Conference play. Heritage would counter with an overall record of 16-7 and 7-3 in 6A West conference play. In the first quarter of play Har-Ber would hold a slim 19-17 over the visiting Lady War Eagles. Har-Ber was led by sophomore Delaney Roller with 5 points. Rogers Heritage was led by Senior Easton Kimball with 7 points. In the second quarter the Har-Ber Lady Wildcats would open the game up and go into half up 42-29 over Heritage. Senior Caylan Koons and sophomore Delaney Roller would lead Har-Ber at half with 14 points apiece. The Lady War Eagles were led by senior Easton Kimball with 12 points. In the third quarter the Har-Ber Lady Wildcats would continue to control the game and hold a comfortable 60-44 lead heading to the fourth quarter. Har-Ber closed out the game with a 82-68 victory. Sophomore Delaney Roller poured in 28 points, going 6-7 from 3 point range, and senior Caylan Koons added 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The Lady War Eagles were led by junior Carlee Casteel with 23 points and 21 points from senior Easton Kimball. The Rogers Heritage Lady War Eagles dropped to 16-8 overall and 7-4 in 6A West Conference play. The Har-Ber Lady Wildcats improved to 18-4 overall and 10-0 in 6A West Conference play. Har-ber will host FS Southside on Friday, and the Lady War Eagles will play Bentonville West on Friday.
Junior Mary Blake Martfield on how the offense moved the ball tonight and was able to find Caylan and Delaney on their hot shooting nights:
“I think on a night like tonight when you know your best shooters are on you just find a way to get them the ball and work on our offense to get them the ball, and coach always talks about knowing someone’s hot and working on being selfless “
On how the team can build on this heading into Friday:
“I think we can continue to work on our defense and handle the ball with pressure because we struggled with that a little bit tonight, but we did pull through so that’s what we are going to have to focus on.”
In the second game of the night The Rogers Heritage War Eagles would take on the Har-Ber Wildcats at Wildcat Arena. Har-Ber entered the game with an overall record of 15-7 and 5-5 in 6A West Conference play, and Heritage came in with an overall record of 8-15 and 2-8 in 6A West Conference play. The first quarter of play would go back and forth with the game tied at 13 after 1 quarter. Har-Ber was led by junior Kase Chambless with 4 points. Rogers Heritage was led by Senior Jaden Torres with 6 points. In the second quarter the game would continue to stay close with Har-Ber holding a slim 29-27 lead at halftime. Har-Ber was led by 6 points from senior Sawyer Jeffus and Heritage was led by 6 points from senior Jaden Torres. Senior Miles Rolfe led Har-Ber at half with 9 points. The War Eagles were led by Senior Jaden Torres with 12 points. After the third quarter Har-Ber held on to a 40-36 lead. In the fourth quarter Heritage would briefly gain the lead 41-40 before Har-Ber would close the game on an 11-4 run down the stretch to win 51-45. Har-Ber was led by senior Cameron Mains with clutch shooting, scoring 7 points in the fourth quarter. Rogers Heritage’s leading scorer was senior Jaden Torres with 14 points. Har-Ber was led by senior Cameron Mains with 13 points. The War Eagles dropped to 8-16 overall and 2-9 in 6A West Conference play while Har-Ber improved to 16-7 overall and 6-5 in 6A West Conference play. Rogers Heritage will play Bentonville West on Friday and Har-Ber will host FS Southside.

“The team moved the ball around and I thought it was my time to hit one because I wasn’t on tonight and then the free throws were just a big-time moment when it came down to it and I just had to hit it.”
